Mountains? What are those? I've heard they're big tall things, I wouldn't know this entire region is flat as a pancake. So discounting outdoor activities is there anything fun to do there? Or does fun usually revolve around partying or gaming?

That's a shame why'd you quit? As wooded as that area is I figure it would be perfect for camping. There's a few good areas around here but they're a few hours away.

Wooded? I guess there are a few acres here and there that have some woods. Most people don't just camp in woods around here. We go to lakes in the mountains, or usually drive into the province a little bit where it's more remote. Camping is mostly for the scenery, we have our choice of which mountain range you want to be looking at.

Its just hot here. Hot... with a side of humidity.. and occasionally a dry heat. Its good biking weather outside right now, I'm lucky enough to live by a small lake with a biking trail. You enjoy biking, or am I boring you?

I haven't had a bike in years, not since I broke my first bike by sitting on it past the recommended age limit. I honestly don't do much to physical activity anymore, but I used to camp, canoe, kayak, run, and hike.

Yeah, I live in Dallas, its 70 degrees outside! What's up with that? Normally Texas weather involves a few days of spring, winter, and 300 days of summer. I take it its pretty rainy and cloudy all the time?

Not really. Summers are usually completely clear with thunderstorms and winters alternate between rain and overcast. Spring and fall are just random though. We usually get racked by huge wind storms in late October/November though.

It's sunny and 25 degrees Celsius outside and I'm wearing shorts, so yeah no freezing. I live 2 hours from seattle and you don't see anybody freezing there. It's the second day of fall!! Still plenty of warmth to go.
